Administrative Assistant

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for providing secretarial and clerical support to the executive staff. Prepares and assembles letters, memos, and reports. Answers questions and directs telephone calls and visitors. Prepares documents and assembles and maintains records. Records minutes from Board meetings. Performs and oversees specific projects and programs as assigned. Schedules and organizes meetings. Responsible for the procurement of supplies, forms and equipment and maintaining inventory. Maintains document files and storage, including member records, daily work and accounts payable both onsite electronically, and offsite. Prepares, edits, and maintains policies and procedures. Confidentiality required at all times. Must have strong proofreading skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
