Information Security Analyst I

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst I to join our Information Technology team. This position is a remote position with the option to work from your home or in the office.

The Information Security Analyst I performs a critical role in protecting Corporate One’s and its CUSO’s data by ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This person works closely with other members of the Information Security team, IT staff members, and business users, to investigate, implement, and manage operational security across the enterprise.

Main Responsibilities:

•Administers systems for intrusion detection, prevention and monitoring, email filtering and monitoring, proxy server and web surfing filtering and monitoring. Supports and monitors network security infrastructure, validates attacks against networks, assesses the impact, makes appropriate recommendations, and implements the resolution.
•Provides support in the investigation and remediation of potential threats and assists with general information system control reviews, risk, and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of existing controls, recommends remedial action as needed.
•Audits administrative and user accounts on all platforms, systems, and applications; monitors internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained.
•Assists in developing and delivering security awareness training, development of information security documentation and the maintenance and testing of disaster resiliency strategies and procedures.
•Monitors security logs for unusual activity and provides support and analysis during a security event, assists IT staff in the response and resolution of those events.

Desired Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum of one to two years of related experience in an information systems security position.
•Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft Server operating systems 2016 through 2022 administration. Network IPv4, IPv6, DNS, and DHCP configuration and troubleshooting.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure. Familiarity of TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocols), DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocols).
