Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will enjoy the challenge of participating in the presentation, promotion, and expansion of credit union membership along with the responsibility of marketing duties. The Business Development Representative will achieve this through the implementation of new programs to increase membership, visibility, and relationships. The position requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm to provide membership information, promote products and services, and acquire new members.
Knowledge and Skills:
-Experience: Two to four years of similar or related experience. -Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completions of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors (4) job-specific skills acquired through and apprenticeship program. -Interpersonal skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. -Other Skills: Proficient in the use of computers, computer equipment, internet and social media. -Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical ability to setup and breakdown event displays. -Work Environment: Frequent travel required between offices and event locations. Reliable transportation is required. Must be able to to up and down multiple flights of stairs.
