GNC Community Federal Credit Union is seeking a visionary, people-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities
• Lead the execution of strategic initiatives aligned with the Credit Union’s mission, values, and long-term objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of credit union operations, ensuring sound financial performance, capital strength, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain and promote a strong culture of service, accountability, and continuous improvement among staff and management.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships within the community while serving as a visible representative of the credit union at industry functions and civic events.
• Champion the use of innovative technology, including AI and cybersecurity measures, to improve operations and member experience in conjunction with protecting member data.
• Ensure prudent lending practices while meeting the evolving financial needs of members.
• Proactively engage with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and maintain full compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Minimum of 7 years of senior management experience in the credit union or broader financial services industry, with cross-functional leadership responsibilities.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, financial oversight, team development, and operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of credit union operations, lending, and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.) preferred.
• Credit Union Development Educator certification (CUDE) and Credit union certification(s) preferred.
